Lydia was another winner of my Mini Session giveaway! I love their funky, retro style! So cute! Everyone should take some pics with their bestie <3
Located in Sherwood, AR, Two Sister’s Catering has been around for years. In fact, I worked on the bakery side back when I was in college. I’ll go ahead and blame my “freshman 15” on their ding dong cake.
The owners, sister duo Faith and Sharon have been serving up laughs along with their yummy southern fair for years, and awhile back they decided to expand the catering business into a cafe too. They’ve been killing it ever since! You can see a lot of their daily specials here, as well as their take-n-bake options! Is your mouth watering yet? It should be! Go by and grab dinner tonight! You’ll be glad you did. :)
Did you know I offer shower coverage with some of my wedding packages? Showers are such fun part of your wedding memories so why not professionally photograph them?
Also, can we talk about this picture of Liz hiding in the sewing closet eating bacon? LOL!!!
Little Julia was so full of smiles for her session! We met down at the River Market for her mini session, and boy was it HOT outside! This Arkansas heat is real. But Julia was a trooper! She smiled and hammed it up. Look out, Jessica, you’re going to have a little model on your hands!
So I have been dying to shoot a couple at Dickey Stephen’s Park, and I finally found a couple who agreed to be my guinea pigs. Ha! We were in and out of there in about fifteen minutes (even though we had made an appointment and let into the venue, I was so paranoid that one of the guys cleaning the field was going to tell us we didn't belong there. lol!) but I think we got some fun shots!
I love love love to capture natural shots of my couples. Kayla was nervous about what to do with herself or how to pose. But guess what? I’m not a big fan of “posed” shots, so no need to be nervous! And look at her, she was a natural! How adorbs are they?
I was so excited to photograph this gorgeous family! Look at baby Ian’s little face! So stinking cute! We met downtown Little Rock, in hopes of getting a couple shots near the H.U. Lee International Gate and Garden, their wedding venue just a few years ago. When I first pulled onto the road I was like “Holy Moly, it’s packed down here today”…and then I saw it. About 30 people in line to take a photo in front of the gate (and countless others crowding the sidewalk around it). Unbeknownst to us, we had scheduled our photos on the date of the ATA World Expo (Note to self- check for this kind of stuff in the future!). So our chances of shooting at the gate were looking pretty grim. But they were such troopers! We made the best of it, and got some fun shots of the family and puppies (fyi, wrangling dogs for family photos downtown is not for the faint of heart!) across the street, before we snuck to the back of the gate for our photos. I felt a little guilty, hoping the crowd out front didn't think we were cutting in on the photo line. But it was nearly deserted in the back! So, we ended up getting our gate pics after all!
It was great to meet you guys, Smith family! Hope we get to work together again in the future!
These little red heads melt my heart. Oh my goodness, I love them so much. I hadn’t taken their pictures in quite some time, so when I told Janna that I wanted to borrow them for some patriotic pics, we didn’t know if Hattie Bug would be up for it (Don’t let that adorable face fool you, if she isn’t in the mood for pictures then it just isn’t going to happen). I don’t know if Janna just hyped it up really well, or maybe it was the Popsicle, but boy did she strike some poses!
Avery was my first 2019 senior of the year! And she didn’t bat an eye when I suggested taking her Senior Photos in a field of weeds on the side of the freeway! Ha!
I kind of can’t handle how gorgeous these kids are! Look at them! Look!
The Keith family was one of the winners of the three mini sessions I gave away a couple months ago. I was a little nervous about attempting a session of all boys. Lets face it, when it comes to family sessions, the boys are usually the least cooperative ones. The ones crossing their arms and rolling their eyes. The ones that take a little more coaxing to get them to smile. Haha!
I guess their momma has trained them well, because that was not the case with these kiddos! They made my job easy! And as you can see, little Will was the star of the show :)
Hattie’s mom wanted to take her two year old pictures in a field of flowers, where I recently had a session. We drove out there, only to find rows of baby corn where there had been yellow wild flowers only a few weeks ago! But who says you can’t have a tea party in a corn field?
Look at those eyes! Look at them!! Joshua was such a ham for his first birthday photos! He’s going to be a little charmer, ladies look out!
This Arkansas heat is REAL, y’all! By the time we finished this session I was pretty sure I was going to die of a heat stroke. But this heat didn’t stop these cuties for a minute!
Also, can we talk about that awkward hug? hahaha! Their dad said “I promise we hug in our house. I don’t know why they act like this is the first time”.
